The 4 Ps of a Marketing and Recruitment Plan in Higher Ed
Time & Location
About the Event
I'll be presenting the following session at the SEMM Forum this spring:
Politics, Persuasion, Personas, and Pennies are the key to success in writing a killer marketing and recruitment plan in higher ed. Politics is the glue that holds it all together. Go beyond creating buy-in, create cohesion and advocates across the institution. Persuasion is the driver to get you the resources you need to succeed - need more money? Need more people? Need different metrics? Your MRP can be the tool to fix that problem. Personas... well, that's obvious to anyone in marketing but do your frontline people know who your target personas are and how they are different? Let's build some together. And lastly, a list of tactics is meaningless if you don't show the return on investment of your work - use your MRP to tell the story of why your tactics matter in the only language that really matters in our current fiscally constrained realities - $$.
